Can I purchase contact lenses from you if I don't have a prescription?

No, you cannot order any contact lenses from us without having a valid prescription from your doctor.

However, if your doctor did not give you a copy of your prescription we can send a fax to him/her, and request that they send a fax with your prescription directly to us.

We are unable to dispatch your order before we have received a copy of your prescription from you or your doctor.

Regardless of where you purchase your contact lenses we strongly recommend that you visit your eye doctor at least once a year for a check-up, and to make sure that your prescription hasn’t changed. There are a number of serious problems and health risks that can go unnoticed if you don’t go for regular check-ups to your eye doctor, and some of them can cause a loss of vision and even blindness.

Is a contact lens prescription different than a prescription for glasses?

Yes, you cannot use your prescription for eyeglasses for your contacts. You should have a contact lens prescription that specifies the power of the lenses, the size of the lens and the type and brand of lens. Contact Lenses come in various sizes, shapes and materials. Each contact lens fits differently on your eye and also correct vision differently. To wear contact lenses successfully an optician or eye doctor must have taken measurements of the eye and assessing the eye with the contact lens on to ensure that you can wear them safely. Proper fitting of contact lenses to your eyes ensures your comfort and the health of your eyes.

Will I receive the same lenses my doctor prescribed when I order from you?

Yes. The lenses we deliver are exactly the same lenses sold to eye doctors and opticians worldwide who then dispense them to their patients. The only difference is that we offer these lenses at big savings and without the hassle.
